Description--Front	The maritime scene at the Hoboken pier fire of 1900. In this disaster, notorious in its day, the piers of the North German Lloyd [Norddeutscher Lloyd] line in Hoboken caught fire, with the flames quickly passing to four vessels of the line; the three steamships depicted either drifted or were towed out into the river. The coat of arms displayed to the side of the image is an artist's depiction of the trademark of the North German Lloyd line. Printing information: card number (No. 109).
