Mr. Walter H. Siple,

Dear Mr. Siple:
I am distressed at the change of dates for the Show. I had considered the matter closed, as my secretary acknowledged the date, and we have scheduled it for April 15th. I am sorry you did not get the letter of confirmation, but would appreciate very much your making every effort to keep the date set in your last letter. The exhibition is scheduled to open here on May 5th, and as our Club closes at the end of that month there will be a great deal of disappointment if I do not keep my promise and show it in New York. It would also put me in a most embarrassing position if you do not have it at the Fogg, because it was for that date I rearranged the whole itinerary.
Sincerely yours,
