Mr. Andrew O'Connor,
17 Rue Campagne Premiere,
Paris, France.
Dear Mr. O'Connor:
I am enclosing Mrs. Rumsey's check for the small bronze, "Commodore Barry". This, you may remember, was sold to her some years ago at your show, and the #300. which she paid then was turned over to you. I have kept the bronze here until it was possible to get the balance due. The receipt of the check has already been acknowledged. I am sorry that this has not come to you before, but it was quite impossible to get the money.
Very truly yours,
