Mrs. W.B. Force,
Whitney Studio Galleries,
10 West 8th Street,
New York.
Dear Mrs. Force;-
My art gallery feature, "In the New York Art Galleries" which is running in the Chicago Daily News, Detroit Free Press, Pittsburgh Post-gazette and Boston Herald has created such a favorable reaction among the galleries of Fifth Avenue and 57th Street that I wish very much I could have the Whitney [Studio] Galleries represented also.
Among those now participating in the art feature are Agnew, Van Diemen, Reinhardt, Macbeth, Milch, Rehn, Dudensing, Grand Central, Ehrich, American Art, P. Jackson Higgs and two more galleries will be in this week.
All four papers are giving me conspicuous positions for the art reviews and during the few weeks since the feature started the New York art galleries have had approximately ten thousand lines of publicity.
The galleries are united in saying that this art feature is the best thing that has ever been done for the New York art galleries and I am therefore most anxious to have the Whitney Studio galleries among the "contented [advertisers]".
If you will make an appointment I will be glad to run down and show you how attractive the whole proposition looks.
Very truly yours, [signed, Maude L. Baillard]
