Dear Mr. Sloan,
Mrs. Whitney has just received your letter, and wishes me to tell you that she would be pleased if you could come to her studio this afternoon between four and six, and she could have a little talk with you. She will be delighted to let you have an exhibition in her studio of your works, but she is afraid that it will have to be rather late in the season, as several exhibitions have been arranged for, and one is being held at present. However she will be able to discuss this with you this afternoon.
Yours sincerely
(Secretary)
