Enclosed is demand No. 2022, drawn in your favor in the sum of $ 450.00.
This demand, which as been receipted for on our books by Deputy Auditor John J. Boyle, may be deposited in your local bank for collection the same as an ordinary check.
As it is not customary for the Auditor's office, without authority, to mail demands you are requested to fill out the enclosed form of power of attorney and return it to this office for our files.
Your power of attorney will authorize the Deputy Auditor to receipt for you on our books for all demands drawn in the future in your favor. These will then be forwarded to you without delay.
