Dear Mrs Cambell,
Last spring (1928) I had a tempera painting in the Black and white show at the Club which I commishioned Dudensing Galleries to collect together with my oil painting in the last members' show. Both paintings were marked on the back "return to Dudensing Galleries". As I understand Dudensings failed to call for these paintings and the oil painting entitled "Blue curtains" was returned to Dudensing Galleries, which I appreciate very much. But the tempera painting, from Black and white show was not returned, and I was not able to locate it since, The description of the painting is: tempera, black and white, under glass, 16x20 inch. about, with narrow black frame around, title - "Horse and harlequin", price $75.00.
I also remember that delivering the oil painting for the members' show I said to two youg ladies receiving it that Dudensings will call for both paintings at the same time.
