My dear Mrs. Force:
Following our converstaion of April second, I met the Board of Control and acquainted it with your desire to rent the Art Students' League Gallery for the Whitney Travelling Exhibition. The proposition was met with the expected success and I am able to report to you that the gallery will be available for the two weeks we considered; that is, for the fortnight of May 7th to 19th. The exhibition hours will be from 10:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. week days, from 10:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Saturdays, and from 2:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. the Sunday (May 13th). The League will furnish attendants all these days except the Sunday, on which day your own attendant will, as you suggested, be in charge.
The Board has permitted me to offer you the use of the Gallery with attendants for these two weeks for $565.00.
